Civil Society and Youth protests against Schedule-IV of Anti-Terrorism Act in Ghizer.

Ghizer (report):
Civil Society and youth of District Ghizer , Pakistan administered Gilgit Baltistan organized peaceful protest against implimentation of Schedule-IV of Anti-Terrorism Act. The protesters hold play cards by mentioning "we don't Accept Black Laws", " we are not Terrorists", "Justice for ATA Victims", "End Colonial laws" and several other slogans. The protest Started from DC chowk Gahkuch and protesters walk towards DHQ hospital.
The protest ended in front of Ghizer Press Club Gahkuch. Infront of press club , youth and civil society leaders addressed the protesters. In their speech, the leaders said  that State and government suppress the peacefull voices  who struggle peacefully for basic human rights of  their native people. Establishment threats and terrorise the peaceful students, teachers, lawyers,political activists and social activists by enforcing black, draconian laws, such as Schedule-IV of Anti-terrorism Act. They also said that the people of District Ghizer are peaceful but we will never  accept the gruesome and brutal acts of  the government. They also questioned that what are the crimes of youth like Tahir Ali Tahir, Yawar Ali, Nor Akbar Gohar, Shokoor khan Advocate , Sher Nadir Shahi, Gul Faraz, Nazrab khan, Manzor Parwana, Shabbir Mayar, Asif Naji Adovcate, Ejaz Balti, Shah Faraz and others whose name have been put in fresh watch list of Schedule-iv without commission of a crime while  the real terrorists are participating  elections.

The protesters demanded to Amnesty International, HRCP, UNHRC and other human rights organizations to force pakistan to end  imposing Black laws and release political activists of Pakistan Administered Gilgit Baltistan.

Gilgit: Schedule-four list released, More than 38 activists placed including Shokoor Khan Adv from Ghizer.

Gilgit: (GB Herald report) Pakistan interior ministry issued the list of persons placed on Fourth Schedule of Anti-Terrorism Act, all around Pakistan Occupied Gilgit Baltistan. The new list contains names of more than 40 persons including lawyers, teachers, writers, political workers, nationalists, progressive and other rights activists of GB. :محمد شاکر  جہاں تک لفظ"حق خودارادیت" self determination کا تعلق ہے۔ اس کا مطلب بین الا قوامی طور پر مسلمہ یہ ہے کہ ایک قوم اگر غلام ہے یہ کوئ قوم کسی دوسری قوم کے ساتھ کسی تعلق کے بغیر رہنا چاہتی ہے تو حق خود ارادیت کے تحت ایسی قوم آزادانہ فیصلہ کرے اور یہ فیصلہ ان دو باتوں کے متعلق ہوتا ہے،کہ وہ قوم مکمل طور پر خودمختار رہنا چاہتی ہے۔ یا کسی قوم کے ساتھ الحاق کرنا چاہتی ہے۔مگر کشمیریوں کے لیئے الفاظ کی تشریح بھی الٹی کی جاتی ہے۔ ہمیں کہا جاتا ہے بھارت یا پاکستان بس اور کوئ راستہ نہیں۔ حالانکہ اس وقت بین الا قوامی طور پر یہ لفظ مکمل خود مختاری کے لیئے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔جب حق خودارادیت کسی قوم کا تسلیم کر لیا جائے تو پھر اس کا اصل مفہوم سے ہٹ کر کوئ مطلب نہیں لیا جاسکتا۔ بین الا قوامی طور پر حق خود ارادیت کی تعریف و تشریح انتہائ واضح ہے۔ "حق خودارادیت سے مراد کسی قوم کی وہ قوت ہے،جس کے تحت وہ بغیر کسی بیرونی دباو کے،آزادانہ مرضی سے،اپنی حکومت اور دوسرے ممالک کیساتھ سیاسی تعلقات کے بارے میں فیصلہ کرتی ہے"۔  شارٹر آکسفورڈ انگلش ڈکشنری جلد دوم 1933 پر تحریر تع
