Nationalist Leaders arrest in Skardu Baltistan

The prominent nationalist leaders of Gilgit Baltistan , Skardu Region Asif Naji Advocate and Shabbir Mayar were arrested by the  Police on Friday in Skardu according to reliable sources.
The leaders were shifted to unknown place for interrogation and probably they will be produce before the Anti-Terrorism Court Gilgit on the next days. The reason of their detention is not disclosed yet by the police but the sources claimed that they were arrested on Violation and non-compliance of Schedule fourth.
Asif Naji and Shabir Mayar were on watch list from 21 June 2018, under the anti-terrorism section schedule fourth including more than 2 hundreds activists of Gilgit Batistan.
Although Asif Naji and Mayar is not member of any outfit organization in the country, they are leader Awami Action Committee Gilgit Baltistan .
 The Awami Action Committee Baltistan, Baltistan Students Federation, Gilgit Baltistan United Movement, Gilgit Baltistan Awami Tehreek, Karakuram National Movement and other political organizations and social media activists has strongly condemned the detention of nationalist leaders and demanded to release them with immediate effect.

Gilgit: Schedule-four list released, More than 38 activists placed including Shokoor Khan Adv from Ghizer.

Gilgit: (GB Herald report) Pakistan interior ministry issued the list of persons placed on Fourth Schedule of Anti-Terrorism Act, all around Pakistan Occupied Gilgit Baltistan. The new list contains names of more than 40 persons including lawyers, teachers, writers, political workers, nationalists, progressive and other rights activists of GB.
