The Government 's steps and proposals to make Gilgit Baltistan a “Provisional Province ” and bring constitutional packages for the region are unlawful and hold no ground at all, as the region does not fall under Pakistan's constitution of 1973. This was stated by the Chairman of the Gilgit-Baltistan United Movement (GBUM), Manzoor Parwana, while reacting over the proposal of Islamabad to deal with the affairs of Gilgit-Baltistan as Provisional Province. He said the “Provisional Constitutional Province” itself is a vague term and it is a joke regarding the denial of the rights of the people of Gilgit Baltistan. Gilgit Baltistan is a disputed territory, that is the reason the region has remained deprived of self-determination for the last 71 years. The Diamer Bhasha Dam project is receiving widespread criticism due to the affects it is having on local Gilgit communities. The Pakistani government has been pushing the development of the dam as being progressive and beneficial for all. However, the people of the illegally occupied territory of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) are the ones who face the most immediate consequences of such a large-scale project. The territory of the Gilgit-Baltistan region is critical in order for the project to take place, however the Government has both neglected to take into consideration the opinion of local communities and to compensate them for the dam’s land acquisition. گلگت(نیوز ڈیسک) عوامی ایکشن کمیٹی گلگت بلتستان کے چیئیرمین مولانا سلطان رئیس الحسینی کو گرفتار کر لیا گیا۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق عوامی ایکشن کمیٹی گلگت بلتستان کے چیئرمین مولانا سلطان رئیس الحسینی کو انسداد دہشتگردی کی عدالت کے حکم پر گرفتار کر لیا گیا اور جوڈیشل کر کے گلگت سینٹرل جیل منتقل کردیا گیا۔ ایکشن کمیٹی کے چیئرمین کو اس سے پہلے بھی متعدد بار گرفتار کیا جاچکا ہے تاہم انہیں ضمانت پر رہائی ملی تھی۔ ان کی گرفتاری پر سوشل میڈیا پر گلگت بلتستان کی سیاسی مذہبی اور عوامی حلقوں کی طرف سے بھرپور مذمت کیا جارہا ہے۔

عبدالحمید خان، چیئرمین بی این ایف گلگت بلتستان کی نام نہاد صوبائی حکومت کا سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان میں غیر جانبدار باونڈری کمیشن کا موقف خوش آئند تو ہے لیکن واضح نہیں۔ پہلی دفعہ گلگت بلتستان کے لوگوں نے خیبر پختونخوا سے تعلق رکھنے والے کسی کمیشن کی مخالفت کی ہے جو ظاہر ہے وہ شندور ہو بابوسر ہو یا دیامر ڈیم کو ہضم کر کے ڈیم کی رائیلٹی اور زمین گلگت بلتستان سے چھینے گا کیونکہ کے پی کے تو براہ راست ایک فریق ہے لیکن یہاں مزید سمجھنے کی ضرورت ہے کہ کیا پاکستان کے کسی اور صوبے سے تعلق رکھنے والا شخص یا اشخاص غیر جانبدار ہو سکتے ہیں کیونکہ یہ اقوام متحدہ میں متنازعہ گلگت بلتستان سے زمین لے کر پاکستان کے حصے میں دینا ہے چاہے وہ کے پی ہو یا براہ راست اسلام آباد یا اس کا کوئی آئینی خطہ۔ کیا سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان گلگت بلتستان کے بارے میں غیر جانبدار ہوسکتا ہے جبکہ سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان کے جج پاکستانی شہری ہیں اور انہوں نے پاکستان کے مفاد کو اولیت دینے کی قسم (حلف)  لیا ہے جس میں گلگت بلتستان شامل نہیں۔   میرے خیال سے نہ سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان گلگت بلتستان کے لئے غیر جانبدار ہے اور نہ

 تحریر:  شفقت انقلابی ایک بات ہم بچپن سے سنتے ہوئے آئے ہیں کی   ہمارےآباواجداد نے اپنی مددآپ ڈوگرہ حکومت سے آزادی لی اور اسلام کے نام پر بننے والے ملک سے الحاق کیا۔یہ ساری زبانی باتیں جو ہمارے بڑوں نےاپنے بڑوں سے سُنی تھی۔ چالے پُرانے بزرگوں سے ہم کوئی گلہ نہیں کرتے کیونکہ اُس دور میں ہمارے لوگ تقسیم برصغیر،مسلہّ کشمیر ، یو این سی ائی پی کی قراردادوں، ایل او سی ، شیملعہ مہائدہ ، آئین پاکستان ، سروے آف پاکستان کےنقشوں سمت کسی بھی چیز سے واقف نہیں تھے۔ مگر افسوس صدا افسوس آج اکیسوی صدی ہے جس کو سائنس اور ائی ٹی کی صدی اور اس دور کو گوگل کا دورکہا جاتاھے۔ آج ہماری قوم کے لوگ پھنڈر، شمشال، کھرمنگ ، منی مرگ اور گماری میں بھی بیٹھ کے انٹرنیٹ کے زرئعے ان دستاویزات تک رسائی حاصل کرسکتےہےمگر افسوس آج بھی ہماری کچھ سیاسی پارٹیوں کے لوگ الحاق کی گیسی پیٹی کہانیاں سناکر قوم کو گمراہ کر رہے ہیں۔ ایسے لوگوںسے چند سوالات۔۔۔۔۔ اگر واقعی آپ کا الحاق ہوچکا ہے تو پاکستان کا وزارت خارجہ افیشلی متازہ کیوں مہتا ہے۔۔۔؟ پاکستان اور یندوستان کی سرحدیں پرمیننٹ بارڈر اور آپ کی سرحد کو لائن آف کنٹر

:محمد شاکر  جہاں تک لفظ"حق خودارادیت" self determination کا تعلق ہے۔ اس کا مطلب بین الا قوامی طور پر مسلمہ یہ ہے کہ ایک قوم اگر غلام ہے یہ کوئ قوم کسی دوسری قوم کے ساتھ کسی تعلق کے بغیر رہنا چاہتی ہے تو حق خود ارادیت کے تحت ایسی قوم آزادانہ فیصلہ کرے اور یہ فیصلہ ان دو باتوں کے متعلق ہوتا ہے،کہ وہ قوم مکمل طور پر خودمختار رہنا چاہتی ہے۔ یا کسی قوم کے ساتھ الحاق کرنا چاہتی ہے۔مگر کشمیریوں کے لیئے الفاظ کی تشریح بھی الٹی کی جاتی ہے۔ ہمیں کہا جاتا ہے بھارت یا پاکستان بس اور کوئ راستہ نہیں۔ حالانکہ اس وقت بین الا قوامی طور پر یہ لفظ مکمل خود مختاری کے لیئے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔جب حق خودارادیت کسی قوم کا تسلیم کر لیا جائے تو پھر اس کا اصل مفہوم سے ہٹ کر کوئ مطلب نہیں لیا جاسکتا۔ بین الا قوامی طور پر حق خود ارادیت کی تعریف و تشریح انتہائ واضح ہے۔ "حق خودارادیت سے مراد کسی قوم کی وہ قوت ہے،جس کے تحت وہ بغیر کسی بیرونی دباو کے،آزادانہ مرضی سے،اپنی حکومت اور دوسرے ممالک کیساتھ سیاسی تعلقات کے بارے میں فیصلہ کرتی ہے"۔  شارٹر آکسفورڈ انگلش ڈکشنری جلد دوم 1933 پر تحریر تع

انجینئرمنظور پروانہ  گلگت بلتستان کی آئینی حقوق کا مقدمہ ایک بار پھر پاکستان کی سب سے بڑی عدالت سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان میں زیر سماعت ہے ، اس عدالتی کاروائی سے گلگت بلتستان کے عوام کی اکثریت بڑی امید یں وابستہ کئے بیٹھی ہیں۔گلگت بلتستان کا اصل کیس تو اقوام متحدہ میں تنازعہ کشمیر نام سے زیر سماعت ہے تا ہم یہ مقدمہ پاکستان اور آزاد کشمیر کی عدالتوں میں بھی چلتا رہا ہے اور عدالتوں نے جوفیصلے صادر کئے ہیں ، وہ انتہائی اہمیت کے حامل ہیں۔سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان اپنی تاریخی فیصلہ28 اپریل1999ء میں صفحہ نمبر 42 پر حکم صادر کرتا ہے کہ "گلگت بلتستان جغرافیائی لحاظ سے ا نڈیا ، چین تبت ، روس کے درمیان ایک انتہائی حساس خطہ ہے ، یہ عدالت فیصلہ نہیں کر سکتی کہ گلگت بلتستان کو کس طرح کی حکومت د ینی چائیے کیونکہ اس بات کی آئین پاکستان اجازت نہیں دیتی،اور نہ ہی ہم ہدایت دے سکتے ہیں کہ گلگت بلتستان کو پارلیمنٹ میں نمائندگی دی جائے کیونکہ یہ ملک کے عظیم تر مفاد میں نہیں در اصل یہاں اقوام متحدہ کے زیر نگراں رائے شماری ہونا ہے"۔آگے یہ بھی حکم کرتا ہے کہ"ناردرن ایریاز ریاست جموں و کشمیر

Locals in Gilgit Baltistan have filled the streets in demand for the immediate release of political activist Baba Jan, who remains in jail despite his recent acquittal by the Hunza Court. Imprisoned since August 2011 for raising awareness about the rights of those having been displaced following the climate-change induced landslide on the Hunza River in 2010, Baba Jan faced charges and life imprisonment. As many other activists in the region, Baba Jan was arrested for denouncing injustice and state oppression, and his detainment reflects the many human rights abuses faced by people in Gilgit Baltistan. Although other political activists’ and his case  were raised  many times before on the  international stage , the government of Pakistan continues to mistreat people under Schedule-IV of its Anti-Terrorism Act. Skardu: 7 September 2018 The prominent nationalist leaders of Gilgit Baltistan , Skardu Region Asif Naji Advocate and Shabbir Mayar were arrested by the  Police on Friday in Skardu according to reliable sources. The leaders were shifted to unknown place for interrogation and probably they will be produce before the Anti-Terrorism Court Gilgit on the next days. The reason of their detention is not disclosed yet by the police but the sources claimed that they were arrested on Violation and non-compliance of Schedule fourth. Asif Naji and Shabir Mayar were on watch list from 21 June 2018, under the anti-terrorism section schedule fourth including more than 2 hundreds activists of Gilgit Batistan. Skardu:  Two active students leader Shabbir Mayar of Democratic Student Federation (DSF) and Adv Asif Naji of Baltistan Students Federation (BSF) has been arrested from Skardu of Pakistan occupied Gilgit Baltistan. Both were strong political voice of Gilgit Baltistan. They were struggling for the basic rights of Gilgit Baltistan which are not available in 21st century. They were also struggling from the plate forum of Awami Action Comittee (AAC) for basic rights of disputed region Pakistan Occupied Gilgit Baltistan.  Shabbir Mayar and Asif Naji Adv were included in a black draconian law Schedule-IV of ATA.  After their arreste, the people of Baltistan including BSF, DSF and Awami Action comittee protested for immediate release of their leaders.

Gilgit: Nationalist Leader of Balawaristan National Front (BNF) Shahid Hussain has been arrested in Gilgit, a city of Pakistan Occupied Gilgit Baltistan on 21st August 2018. He was accused in Schedule-IV of Anti-terrorism Act, anti-state and dozens of  other sedition charges. The First Investigation Report (FIR) was lodged on october 2016 aginst him alongwith many other nationalists including Dee Jay Mathal, a prominent journalist and chief editor daily Bangesahar (Banned) who is already imprison for more than two years. Shahid Hussain has been arrested in  the same FIR  and sent to Joint investigation Team (JIT). Shahid Hussain is a prominent nationalist leader of Balawaristan National Front, as well as  chief editor monthly Balawaristan Times (Banned). He was  also former General Secretary of All Parties National Alliance (APNA).

Islamabad (Monitoring disk): Pakistan Army, Elite Force of GB Police, and Ghizer Police has launched a “combing” operation in Ghizer District of Gilgit-Batistan to arrests ‘suspects’. Several suspects, some of them previously involved in militancy, have been arrested for questioning. There are reports that last night suspected terrorists opened fire on security forces in Gahkuch, while they were conducting raids to arrests suspects. Reporters have said that they have been instructed by authorities to not report about the on-going combing operation, for success of the mission. Independent sources have said that the combing operation is being carried out because some of the terrorists have reportedly found sanctuaries in the district, after fleeing from Darel. “7 to 8 operations are being conducted everyday in different parts of the district” as part of an effort to arrest absconders, suspected terrorists, and their facilitators, said Zia-ur-Rahman, spokesman of Ghizer Police.

Gilgit: (PR) Interior Ministry of Pakistan decided to include hundreds of nationalist, progressive, religious, students and right activists of Pakistan Administered Gilgit Baltistan in fourth schedule of Pakistani Anti-terrorism Act  . Skardu (monitoring desk): The Kharmang Police arrested the political leader of GB, Ghulam Shehzad Agha early in the morning on 4th July 2018 from his home in the capital city of Baltistan. According to GBUM supreme leader Manzoor Parwana,   Shehzad was pro-active in anti- tax movement, anti-Order 2018 and anti-land grabbing movement against the GB government on the platform of Awami Action Committee .
